Its questions are drawn from the Sommelier book, and after each answer you see the reasoning. The quiz page starts from your own progress. This guide walks through each way in, and what happens to the questions you miss.
01Where to start
The quiz page opens with your standing: chapters read, terms holding, chapters tested and items due today. Beneath it, a Next up panel names one thing to do and says why it was chosen.
The order behind that choice is simple. Anything due for review comes first. Then a chapter you have read but never tested. Then terms that have not yet settled. If everything you have opened is holding, it suggests the full quiz. If you are just starting, it suggests the glossary quiz: ten questions, asked in both directions, in about three minutes.
02The ways in
Beside Next up sit the whole-book rounds. Below them, a board of subjects lets you pick a single sitting, most of them twelve questions and about five minutes.
The full quiz draws on three kinds of question: the book’s own questions, glossary terms and classification pairs, so no two rounds are the same. Chapters also have a terms quiz, asked in both directions, and when a chapter has enough of the book’s own questions, the page offers them next with a simple prompt: ready for the real thing?
